I’M LUKE GRESSER

ABOUT ME

I graduated with honors from the University of San Francisco in May of 2020 with a BA in Business Administration.  After graduating from college, I joined Wells Fargo to work at the intersection of technology and business.  I started in the Strategy and Digital Innovation team until I was promoted to scrum master after my first year.

 

I have 3 years of experience with large-scale software projects at Wells Fargo. My time was spent between the Strategy and Technology teams in the Money Movement Division. My primary focus was in Digital Wallets.  My team maintained legacy wallets like Apple Pay and built the new Paze digital wallet from scratch. 

​

In addition to managing agile ceremonies for two software teams, I taught Jira with a focus on queries, dashboards, and automations.  I built multiple visualization dashboards and automations used by the entire organization to track software testing.  I coordinated many elements of releases and defect management.

​

I am interested in a meaningful role in an small to mid-sized entrepreneurial environment.

 

I am the proud father of a 9lb dog named Charlie.

BA BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
USF, 2020

I graduated cum laude (3.74 GPA) in May from the University of San Francisco.  I enjoyed classes in marketing, economics, business analytics, and SQL.  Throughout my entire academic career, I had internships and jobs.  I had the opportunity to be a Teacher's Assistant for a class called Applied Business Technologies that teaches SQL and project management.

  • Managed Agile ceremonies for multiple global teams

  • Created, updated, and deleted requirements for software development projects in the system of record called Jama.

  • Managed intersections with other teams on large, interconnected software projects.

  • Wrote user stories in the BDD format for automated testing.

  • Graduated early from the Agile Associates program

DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER,

  • Manage Digital & Facebook marketing strategy for the largest outdoor market in Southern Arizona (10,000 attendees per week).

  • Work with executives and operations team to develop and implement strategy, including identifying target market segments based on geography, age, language, interests, and other factors.

  • Design and run Google and Facebook ad campaigns with unique copy and creative aimed at target markets.

  • Integrate online with traditional media campaigns, targets, and marketing.

  • Reduced the cost per click from >$1.30 to <$.24 by actively managing targets, placement, and dynamic creative.

  • Create regularly scheduled organic posts and posted content in real-time when necessary.

I am competent with SQL.  While at USF, I studied SQL.  I taught students and graded assignments in SQL as a Teacher's Assistant. 

 

Web Development:

I am self-taught in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Shopify:

I have built multiple Shopify websites for art projects using print on demand.  Designs are created with original photos and AI.

Excel: 

I have real-world experience with Excel at an accounting firm. I have written macros in VBA to automate Excel processes. 

 

Tableau:

I learned Tableau at USF and I have used it to visualize data at work.

SHOPIFY

Print on demand shop created with Shopify.  I use a combination of AI, stock photos, and personal flair to create merchandise for this brand.  I have had limited sales, but my profit margin is currently 40% and it is just a project I made for fun.

Screen recording start up designed for content creators on YouTube.  SwitchAdz is a browser extension that identifies ad space in screen recordings and covers them with a new, paying advertisement.
